Tomatoes & Onion Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon salt
Small piece of ginger grated
2 medium size ripe tomatoes - diced into small pieces
1 small onion - diced into small pieces
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
10 -12 cleaned and cut cilantro leaves
2 small green peppers - chopped
1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
Directions:
Keep a medium-size skillet over the heat and put vegetable oil.
When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds.
Since sputter and pop, keep a lid handy.
Then add green peppers and grated ginger and fry for 2 minutes.
Now, add onion to it and fry until they are lightly brown.
Remove from heat and keep aside.
In a serving bowl, place the diced tomatoes, saltand mix well.
Put the fried mixture and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve cold.
