Chicken Pie Chilli Recipe
Ingredients:
8 onz. chunks of chicken, boned and cut into squares
7 onz. thawed shortcrust pastry, rolled to a thickness of 1/2 inch thick
Jalapeno Havarti cheese 2 cups grated
1/4 cup milk for glazing and sealing
5 cups fresh chile
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Roll pastry over pie plate and cut the excess.
Roll remaining pastry for a lid and set aside.
Combine the chicken and chile.
Spoon mixture into base of cake and sprinkle with cheese.
Use half the milk to moisten the edges of the dough.
Carefully place the foot on the lid and Crimp edges to seal.
Brush remaining milk over the top and bake cake until golden brown.
Serve with a light salad and soft rolls.
