Chicken Corn Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups boneless skinless chicken, diced
1 egg, beaten
6 onz. thawed shortcrust pastry
2 cups Oriental sauce
1 cup half and half cream
2 cups canned baby corn, drained and halved
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Half of the pastry and line a foot plate.
Reserve the remaining pastry for the lid, Set aside.
Combine the chicken and baby corn cobs.
In a bowl, combine the plum sauce, sherry, soy sauce, rice wine, cream and cornstarch.
Add the sherry sauce to chicken mixture and mix well.
Spoon into the cake.
Moisten the edges of the pie shell with half the beaten egg.
Place the pastry on top and Crimp edges to seal.
Using remaining egg, brush lid to glaze.
Bake until golden brown.
